Architectural Accessibility
The Marshal’s Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship in Toruń has 14 locations.
The main headquarters of the Marshal’s Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship is located at Plac Teatralny 2 in Toruń. Key architectural and organisational barriers have been removed and the building has been adapted for persons with special needs as follows:
Access to the building is provided by external stairs and a ramp.
The main entrance is on the ground floor, without threshold obstacles; automatic double-leaf doors opened by a motion sensor.
A YourWay Beacon navigation marker (a transmitter with a speaker) has been installed before the entrance to assist visually impaired persons with spatial orientation.
The building is adapted for persons with disabilities on every level via a system of three lifts; assistance is provided by all office staff, and where necessary, by specially trained personnel.
